安田瓦は江戸末期からの歴史をもつ伝統的な瓦です。1200度以上の高温で焼成する「還元焼成法」を用いた吸水率が低く断熱性や耐寒性に優れた硬く丈夫な寒冷地仕様の瓦です。この度、テーブルウェアブランド「TSUKI」のデザインディレクターでもある梅野聡氏（UMENODESIGN）と新たに独自の技術と素材を活かした、インテリアブランド「MYK（マイケイ）」を立ち上げました。マイケイは、My kawaraを意味し、Marumi Yasuda Kawaraの頭文字でもあります。MYKは、新潟県阿賀野市で製造しています。日本最北端の瓦産地であり、その優れた品質と機能性から主に雪深い日本の北部で採用され続けています。安田瓦特有の凹凸の表面はその美しい輝きと、手に馴染むグリップ性、特有の適度な重さから生じる安定感もあります。私の瓦、と愛着を持っていただけるようなブランドとしてこれからも瓦の魅力を発進してまいります。
 
 
Yasuda tiles are traditional tiles that have a history dating back to the late Edo period. This is a hard and durable roof tile designed for cold regions that uses the "reduction firing method" in which it is fired at a high temperature of over 1,200 degrees, and has low water absorption, excellent insulation and cold resistance. Together with Satoshi Umeno (UMENODESIGN), who is also the design director of the tableware brand ``TSUKI'', we have launched a new interior brand ``MYK'' that utilizes our unique technology and materials. Maikei means My kawara and is also the initial letter of Marumi Yasuda Kawara. MYK is manufactured in Agano City, Niigata Prefecture. It is the northernmost tile producing area in Japan, and continues to be used mainly in the snowy northern part of Japan due to its excellent quality and functionality. The uneven surface unique to Yasuda tiles gives it a beautiful shine, a grip that feels comfortable in the hand, and a sense of stability that comes from its unique moderate weight. We will continue to promote the appeal of tiles as a brand that will make people feel attached to our tiles.
